MYX will gather the country's best music artists during the MYX MO! 2012 tonight.

MYX, the number one music channel in the Philippines proudly presents its annual music event, MYX Mo! 2012 featuring the biggest names in the music industry such as Rico Blanco, Callalily, 6Cyclemind, Sponge Cola, Chicosci, Kamikazee, Slapshock, Pupil, Moonstar88, Yeng Constantino and many more! Watch them perform live at the Marikina Sports Complex tonight, Tuesday, December 18, 2012.

Those who have luckily claimed their VIP, Gold and Silver tickets through MYX’s promos must be at the gates before 4:00 p.m. The most anticipated music event of the year, MYX Mo! 2012 will begin at 6:00 p.m. All music lovers around the world will also be able to watch the event by tuning in to the MYX Mo! livestream through MYX’s official website, www.myxph.com.  Apart from the fun jamming sessions with your favorite Pinoy rock bands and singers, the lucky performer who will experience the limelight during the MYX Mo!ment Promo will also be revealed.

MYX Mo! 2012 will be aired on MYX during these dates: December 21 at 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., December 24 at 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., December 25 at 7:00 pm to 9:00pm for the first part, December 26 at 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for the second part and December 27 at 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for the third part, December 29 at 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., December 31 at 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. and January 1 at 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

OMG! I really could not believe it! I got invited to the MYX Music Awards!  I got a text message the other day from the PR that I was invited to the MYX Music Awards and I was all giddy and I really felt very lucky to get an exclusive invites!

This is where we signed up! Naman Look who's invited! See the printed names of those who are officially invited. Exclusive!!!! Tingnan naman ninyo kung sino sino ang mga naka imprintang pangalan ng opisyal na inimbita! Panalo! Ay! Tinagalog lang =))! Ha ha ha! Pasensya na mga repapips! Ha ha ha! First time ko mag attend sa MYX Music Awards at naiihi ako sa tuwa. Opo, sadyang mababaw lang po ang kaligayahan ko dahil alam ko na marami akong dapat ipagpasalamat sa Maykapal sa pangalawang buhay na binibigay niya sa akin. At of course maraming salamat po sa mga bumubuo ng MYX Music Awards at Abs-Cbn sa pag imbita. O ha nag speech na ako ha ha ha! Feeling winner. The ’70s inspiration reflects last year’s emergence of fresh OPM acts and the return to original compositions. That’s why MYX Channel head Andre Allan Alvarez wants to continue the channel’s legacy, as he aims to jumpstart and support Original Pilipino Music’s new Golden Age.

 

It can be recalled that the ’70s was the Golden Age of OPM. The MYX Music Awards brings back the colorful era with a series of offerings that every music lover will enjoy.

He added that every music and artist — be it rock, pop, R&B, etc. — has its/his own potential of getting known worldwide.

“As a music channel, MYX takes pride in letting artists perform no matter which network or station they belong to. So long as you’re a performer or a musician, MYX welcomes you, regardless of network affiliation,” Alvarez said.

King of Comedy Dolphy and singer Zsa Zsa Padilla's daughter Zia Quizon bagged the Favorite New Artist trophy.

DEKADA SITENTA inspiration SA 2012 MYX MUSIC AWARDS was held at Music Museum, in Greenhills last Tuesday night.

The Rock band "Parokya ni Edgar" was a big winner at the annual MYX Music Awards (MMA) 2012.

Maestro Ryan Cayabyab was given the MYX Magna Award Special Citation for his wonderful contributions to the local music industry.
